Viejas casino.
The more things change, the more they stay the same. Im at viejas, a casino about 10 miles outside of the city, to see a rock show. Im having reno flashbacks, not just because im at a casino to see a show, but because the band in question is Hot Water Music. Bless the baby jebus. Im at a casino sushi bar with Scott and PK from Unwritten Law waiting for the show to start…pictures to come....

SXSW is over...so what happened here?
Ill tell you what happened: I got depressed. After a few days, I had a chance to chill in the hotel for a second and actually look at this experiment on an actual computer, as opposed to my phone. And it sucked. Disappointing. The pictures look terrible, the videos are unintelligible, etc. Then I looked at Pitchfork’s semi-live blogging from SXSW, and a few others. Made me even more...

Other things that happened last night that went...
Saw the weakerthans. I was so awestruck that i neglected to take pictures. Saw another 10 minutes of Jens Lekman. Worthy of the hype, but the crowds suck. I lost several games of Slacker interoffice foosball. Not surprisingly, the guy who doesnt drink won most of the time. Today is a work day. More sporadic updates later.
