This is a 7” from a kiwi that has a song in an iPod commercial. It came out on Jack White’s Third Man Records, which makes some dudes visibly excited. It’s ironic because it is very time consuming to digitize a record and put it on an iPod.
This is a crucial mid-90s San Diego record. I think I picked this up because June Cate (bass) was one of my favorite skateboarders. You could call this “post-Jehu” rock. They are back together now, which is nice because I never got to see them the 1st time around.
It came out on Ambassador records, which I think was a sub-label of the legendary Revelation. I also think they put out a Shai Hulud record once.

If you look at the previous posts here, you’ll see that I started using Tumblr in 2007 (humblebrag?), with no real curatorial focus. Most of the content on here consists of shitty photos from music festivals in 2008 and 2009, taken with my first smartphone- a Motorola Q.
Over Thanksgiving 2012, I started taking stock of the sheer amount of physical music media that I own. It is tremendously nostalgic, but it is useless to me now. It takes up literally half of my garage. It is time to consolidate.
Ill be documenting that process here, once a day. Please enjoy.
